Friends of Crystal Lake Chronology

Spring at Crystal LakeThe Friends of Crystal Lake is an organization of Newton citizens which became informally active in the mid 90s working towards the 2000 restoration of Levingston Cove. Louise Levingston, for whom the Cove was dedicated in 1982, was one of the original members. The Friends became formally organized as a 5013c in 2009. A chronology of some of our activities to date is listed below:

2017

  • April 24 — Councilor Greg Schwartz meeting regarding Crystal Lake issues
  • Initiatives to restore the Coves and enable greater enjoyment of the public beach facilitates
