Friends of Crystal Lake Chronology The Friends of Crystal Lake is an organization of Newton citizens which first became informally active in the restoration of Levingston Cove. This began around the mid 90’s and ended with the refurbishing of the Cove in 2000. Louise Levingston, for whom the Cove is named, was one of the original members. More recently the Friends have become more formally organized and have been involved in small projects. A chronology of some of our activities to date is listed below: Spring and Summer 2009
